Petr Cech would be worth 12 to15 points a season to Arsenal says Chelsea captain, John Terry

Chelsea skipper John Terry has hailed the Cezch keeper  for his outstanding performances in the bridge for over a decade.

Terry believes Cech would strengthen the gunners and he believes Cech would save Arsene Wenger's side 12 or15 points a season.

He has one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, and while Terry says no-one wants to see him leave the club, he understands his desire for regular first-team football.

Speaking to talkSPORT , Terry said: “There’s talk of Arsenal signing Petr Cech and, if they do get him, he will strengthen them for sure. He will save them 12 or 15 points a season.

Terry says no-one wants to see Cech leave Stamford Bridge

"Petr was an unbelievable professional last year. When you get left out of the team it can be hard to accept but, when he came in, he was exceptional.

''He deserves a lot of credit for that. We understand he wants to play first-team football but nobody wants to see him leave the club. He's going to be sorely missed and will improve any side he goes to''.

Cech wants to remain in London, making the move to Arsenal desirable from his point of view. Though Jose Mourinho would rather see him join Paris Saint-Germain rather than joining fierce rivals Arsenal but Roman Abrahimovic would honour the goal keeper by allowing him to make his own choice.

Cech has played 485 times for the Blues, winning four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups and a solitary Champions League crown.
