Midfield mastreo Andrea Pirlo has denied he is set to leave Juventus to join New York City FC. The Italian is currently in the United States for holidays and was spotted in the Yankee stadium which happens to be the home ground of the MLS franchise and this has fuelled the rumor of him leaving the Bianconeri when the transfer window opens.
The Italian took to Twitter this morning to deny the rumor. He said,"I would like to point out again that I have no profile on Instagram. If I open one, it will be written in proper Italian".
The nidfielder joined Juventus from AC Milan in the summer of 2011and has been prominent in the club's four subsequent Scudetti successes.
