Chelsea are closing on a £6.3million deal for Fluminense’s Kenedy.
The 19-year-old’s club announced on Friday that the player had been sold but initially to an investment company who will now arrange his sale to Chelsea.
Chelsea, who also signed Kenedy’s Brazilian compatriot Nathan from Atletico Paranaense in May, have checked on the winger’s progress for some time.
A Brazil Under 20 international, Kenedy, full name Robert Kenedy Nunes do Nascimento, is a tricky, left-footed winger who plays on the right and likes to cut in.
