Chelsea to rival Swansea and Newcastlle to sign young Serbian


Chelsea are considering whether to step into the race for Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.


Swansea and Newcastle have both been rebuffed in approaches for the 20-year-old who is valued at £15million.
Anderlecht will sell but the Serbia international wants to play Champions League football and is looking for wages of around £60,000 a week plus bonuses.

Chelsea have watched Mitrovic throughout last season and he scored 23 goals in an impressive campaign, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United also checked but have reservations about whether he could fit into their squads and improve them.
