Manchester City prepared to pay £35million for king of assists

The Citizens are willing to do everything to secure the signature of Wolfsburg attacking midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne for £35million.

The former Chelsea man confirmed City had made ‘informal contact’ with the Beligan international last month as Manuel Pellegrini looks to add more quality to his squad in a bid to regain the Premier League title conceded to Jose Mourinho last season.

Goal are reporting that Manchester City are ‘expecting developments’ in De Bruyne’s situation and will wait for the player to finish contract talks with his current club Wolfsburg before making their ‘big money approach’.

Manchester City are willing to offer De Bruyne, a midfielder who managed to break the Bundesliga assist record last season, £150,000 per week to bring him back to the Premier League.

Do you think De Bruyne would  be a good signing for Manchester City? Leave your comments below......
